The Westin Bund Center Shanghai (Weishiding Jiudian) is Westin's newest addition to its Shanghai portfolio and is located centrally near People's Square. Guests of the hotel are about a 20-minute drive from Hongqiao Airport and a 45-minute drive from Pudong International Airport.
The lotus flower-topped Bund Center building is an easily recognizable city landmark, its massive open-plan lobby always abuzz with live music and cocktail-drinkers relaxing in the posh lobby bar.
There are 302 spacious guestrooms within the hotel, featuring the Westin's famous Heavenly Beds. Four floors are dedicated to the Westin Executive Club which hosts the Executive Club Lounge and an adjoining terrace.
There are six food and beverage outlets, serving Pan-Asian, Italian and International cuisines, as well as an all-day dining outlet, a bar and the lobby lounge. A purpose built conference center houses banquet and meeting facilities, including a ballroom for up to 550 persons and 11 variously-sized function rooms.
The Westin is also popular for it's decadent (and expensive) champagne brunches on late Sunday mornings which include free-flow champagne and a delectable five-star buffet.
